Chateaux and Bastides

Chateaux and Bastide towns are in abundance locally. Chateau Bonaguil is on our doorstep and Chateau Biron is 25 minutes away.
Follow the Circuit des Bastides and discover the many ancient fortifications; notably Monflanquin and Montpazier which are considered to be among the most beautiful villages of France.

Markets
For a real taste of French life, visit one of the many local food and produce markets where you can buy local delicacies and regional market fayre. Markets operate to seasonal calendars, with some open on the lighter evenings (marchés nocturnes) during July and August.

Enjoy fun for all the family nearby at the fantastic treetop adventure park (Parc-en-Ciel), which also features a large natural swimming pool and crazy golf.
Take a beautiful countryside walk or cycle among the sunflowers and vineyards. we are only 3km from the velo route (cycle route) along the river Lot.
Canoe leisurely along the Dordogne river to really soak up the sights and sunshine.
Horse trek through the beautiful Lot valley countryside and the vineyards with the many spectacular views.
